PCC's energy trade business unit is operating on an international basis.

The energy trade business unit focuses on the optimization of group assets, e.g. power stations and large energy consumers. Apart from that, PCC's subsidiary PCC Energy Trading GmbH is now active in the transnational electricity trade in 17 European countries. Another main business field is OTC trade and trade on energy exchanges. For some years now, PCC has been a member of the council of EEX, the energy exchange in Leipzig.
