Intermodal transport
From the time of its inception in 2005, PCC Intermodal S.A. has shown enormous growth. Currently this transport company operates 30 rail connections per week, which are served by container block trains – and the growth trend continues. In so-called intermodal transports of containerized goods, more than one means of transport is involved. For example, direct deliveries to the client’s door are carried out locally by truck.
The route network was expanded in 2008 – currently PCC Intermodal offers connections between its inland terminals and the seaports.
