In the Chemical Production division, PCC SE focuses on the extension of the capacity of existing production facilities and the construction of new facilities.

Current Projects:

Completion:

Project status:

  • Reinforced concrete works finished
  • Steel construction works almost finished
  • Almost all apparatus mounted on steel structure or concrete fundations
  • Road works in progress
  • Piping and mechanical works
  • Road works have been almost finished
  • Once the road works have been completed, piping works will be carried out, and electrical and measurement equipment will be installed

Benefits:

Extension of the product range of the poliols unit by specialty polyols branded Rokopol iPolTM

Completion:

The facility became operational on April 20, 2010

Projectstatus:

Production facility has been completed; acceptance procedure and test runs have been finished.

Additionally, the storage base for propylene oxide (PO) – one of the main starting substances for the production of polyols, has been increased. Construction works on three tanks with a volume of 160 cubic metres each were completed at the end of September 2009.

  • Increase in chlorine production capacity to up to 120,000 tons p.a.

Project status:

Construction phases since project inception in September 2007:
  • December 2009 – February 2010: processing line start-up, trial run
  • October – December 2009: mechanical start-up
  • May – November 2009: works on electrical and measuring systems
  • May 2008 - December 2009: construction and installation works
  • September 2007 - December 2008: equipment design and delivery
