Dr. Peter Wenzel
CEO/Chairman of the Executive Board

Dr. Peter Wenzel (59) has held senior managerial positions at PCC since 2003. He is the CEO/Chief Executive Officer within which he has specific responsibility for corporate and project development, and also sustainability – a key issue of increasing strategic importance for the PCC Group. Peter Wenzel further holds several other executive, management and supervisory board mandates within the PCC Group, for example as Managing Director of both PCC Chemicals GmbH and PCC Integrated Chemistries GmbH, and as a member of the supervisory boards of our Icelandic and Malaysian affiliates PCC BakkiSilicon hf. (Chair) and PCG PCC Oxyalkylates Sdn. Bhd.

Ulrike Warnecke
Executive Board Member

Ulrike Warnecke (61) has held a number of senior managerial positions with PCC since the company was first established. As a Member of the Executive Board of PCC SE, she is primarily responsible for the corporate functions Finance, Human Resources and Public Relations. Her operational responsibilities extend to the segments Specialty Chemicals and Consumer Products. Ulrike Warnecke is also the Managing Director of our most important trading company, PCC Trade & Services GmbH, Vice Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of PCC Consumer Products S.A. and a member of the Supervisory Board of PCC BakkiSilicon hf.

Dr. rer. oec. (BY) Alfred Pelzer
Executive Board Member

Dr. rer. oec. Dr. Alfred Pelzer (aged 64) has held a number of senior managerial positions with PCC since 1995. His primary areas of responsibility as Executive Board Member (since 31 August 2021), like before as Managing Director and Deputy Chairman of the Administrative Board (2007-2021), include the operational areas of chemical production – the main revenue driver within our Group – as well as logistics and distribution. Alfred Pelzer further holds a number of supervisory board mandates within the PCC Group, including at the chemical production companies, PCC Rokita SA (Chairman), PCC Exol SA, PCC MCAA Sp. z o.o., and PCC Synteza S.A. (Chairman), at PCC IT. S.A. (Chairman), and at the logistics companies, PCC Intermodal S.A. (Chairman) and PCC Autochem Sp. z o.o. (Chairman).

Waldemar Preussner
Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PCC SE

In 1993, Waldemar Preussner (65) established the company Petro Carbo Chem Rohstoffhandelsgesellschaft mbH (today: PCC Trade & Services GmbH) in response to market liberalization in Eastern Europe. The company remains at the core of the PCC Group. 1998 saw the carve-out of the holding company PCC AG, and in 2007 its corporate form was changed to that of a European corporation (Societas Europaea, SE). Waldemar Preussner is the sole shareholder of PCC SE and Chairman of its Supervisory Board. He further holds a number of supervisory board mandates within the PCC Group.

Dr. Hans-Josef Ritzert
Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PCC SE

Having been previously associated with the PCC Group as an advisor, Dr. Hans-Josef Ritzert (64) was appointed Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PCC SE in 2021. Originally a chemist by profession, he has also served as Managing Director of Evonik Nutrition & Care GmbH and Head of the Evonik China organization. Hans-Josef Ritzert currently holds various mandates outside PCC SE, including as a member of the supervisory board of Röhm AG, as well as continuing to work as a consultant.

Reinhard Quint
Member of the Supervisory Board of PCC SE

Reinhard Quint (81) began supporting PCC in an advisory, non-executive role in 2002. He is a Member of the Supervisory Board of PCC SE. He also serves as a member of the Corporate Development Council of Duisburger Hafen AG. Prior to that, Reinhard Quint was for many years Chairman of ThyssenKrupp Services AG (known today as ThyssenKrupp Materials International GmbH), Essen (Germany).
