Duisburg/Pervomaysky (Russia) August 21, 2020. Our Russian joint venture DME Aerosol displays a positive trend: In July, the company was able to deliver almost 600 tons of high-purity dimethyl ether (DME) to various customers in Russia, Poland, and Southeast Europe for the first time. DME Aerosol thus reached the minimum quantity required for the continuous operation of this new production facility. Given the successful qualification of our product at another major customer, such sales volume should be reached regularly in the coming months. On the basis of a continuous operation the efficiency of the DME facility will improve significantly, with correspondingly positive effects on the earnings development of DME Aerosol.
