The Patiška small hydropower plant began commercial operations in December 2014. Today the facility supplies electricity to some 800 households, generating around 3.07 million kWh per year (long-term average). Construction was significantly delayed initially by local political interests. However, we were able to overcome these challenges by, among other things, sponsoring a social project. This involved renewing some 2,000 metres of the main street of the village of Patiška.
