• PCC Exol SA garners Gold status in the EcoVadis sustainability ratings and joins the top two percent of the world’s most sustainable companies. Significant advance versus previous year
• PCC Rokita SA receives Silver Certificate on its very first EcoVadis audit
• Sustainability strategy set to be further expanded going forward

Duisburg/Brzeg Dolny (Poland), April 2016. The two Polish chemicals companies PCC Rokita SA and PCC Exol SA, both headquartered in Brzeg Dolny (Lower Silesia), have achieved high standings in the renowned international sustainability ratings published by EcoVadis. In February of this year, PCC Exol SA, one of Eastern Europe’s biggest manufacturers – and Poland’s only provider – of surfactants, received the Gold Certificate, the highest rating standard for 2016, from EcoVadis for its achievements in corporate social responsibility (CSR). Taking its scores in all the CSR categories together, PCC Exol counts among the top two percent of the suppliers assessed by EcoVadis around the world. PCC Exol had already participated in a CSR audit in the previous year, achieving Silver status. PCC Rokita SA , the biggest chemicals company of the PCC Group and a major producer of polyols among other products, took part in the EcoVadis ratings for the first time and, in December 2015, was likewise awarded Silver status, an excellent result that places it among the top 30 percent of the most sustainable companies audited by EcoVadis. In their home market of Poland, both companies are leading the way in terms of developing comprehensive systems for assessing their own sustainability in production and consumption and gauging their performance on the corporate social responsibility side.
