PCC SE plans to set up a production facility for oxyalkylates (non-ionic surfactants and polyether polyols) in Malaysia in a 50/50 joint venture with one of the leading integrated chemical players in Southeast Asia, PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad (PCG). We thus expand some of our core businesses into the growth markets of Asia. The production facility for oxyalkylates is planned to be built at the strategically very well-located petrochemical complex that PCG, as part of the global oil and gas company PETRONAS, operates in Kerteh in the Malaysian province of Terengganu. The image above shows an aerial view of the chemical complex of PCG.
